2023 Weekend Series Schedule

One of the oldest yachting events of the Stamford Yacht Club, the Weekend Series races were first held in August of 1985. Year after year the Weekend Series has been the backbone of racing at Stamford Yacht Club. The Weekend Series fleets through the years have had as many as fifty boats on the line and some of the Club’s best sailors and most famous boats have won the Weekend Series Trophy.

Weekend Series racing is open to all sailors with active PHRF certificates. Member and non-member boats are eligible for individual race awards.

The Weekend Series Trophy will be awarded to the Stamford Yacht Club boat with the best overall performance in the series.

All boats qualifying for this series are eligible to win the Stamford Cup. The Stamford Cup will be awarded to the boat with best overall fleet position throughout the series.
